Honestly, if I was 10 months older and could’ve vote I would’ve voted for McCain. However, I’m not disappointed with Obama being elected. I think he would’ve been a better President in the future after he gained more years of experience, but I am really excited that finally an African American has become President. It’s ridiculous it hasn’t happened yet…
Obama does need to be careful though, he has a lot of promises to fulfil so I wish him the best of luck.

   &kudos on writing an amazing “trilogy.”

So my comment was probably not unique to most other comments that were asking for explanations of hoverboards and other technology of Tally Youngblood’s world, but it was enough that the brilliant Scott Westerfeld would include me in his dedication and that is very icy!

In other news, the elections are just around the corner and you can expect a post when we know the next President… although according to most media the President seems to be already decided —> the one who rides a donkey. I’m not sure how I feel about that… hmm. I’ll expand on my political convictions later.

Well, I’m disappointed that a Twilight book beat out Harry Potter. I can’t stand Twilight and if you can, feel free to debate about it with me ^_^ Mostly, it’s because of Bella, the queen of Mary Sues, but then there are many more reasons which I’ve love to discuss. Not that I have anything against the author, just her Twilight saga…

I adore the Harry Potter series and am terribly sad it is over. The seventh was easily my favourite and while I believe it should have received first place, second is respectable. Then Extras made number eight! The Uglies trilogy is icy to the max. I’ve never been more wrapped into books, or characters (Tally Youngblood). Extras was not as icy, but definitely bubbly and worthy of number eight if not higher. Kudos to Scott Westerfeld, a brilliant author.

Speaking of Scott Westerfeld: he pointed out in his blog “a three-legged, crab-walking microbot developed in South Korea.” Ever heard of nanotechnology? Well this is more like millitechnology, so not quite small enough yet, but tres intriguing. What’s crazy about this tiny bot is that it’s polymer powered by rat’s heart. Check out Scott Westerfeld’s blog to see this tiny bot in action. Then check out the rest of the blog and meet the brilliant author of the Uglies trilogy and many more great books.
